The Chamber of Mines of Peru participated in a presentation ceremony at the Congress of the Republic.
Various parades, art fairs and free performances are part of the activities for the X World Folklore Festival “Mi Peru 2017” organized by the Municipality of Lima together with the Federation of International Dance Festivals (FIDAF) and the Cultural Association C.I.D.A.N. The main venue is the Municipal Theater and the different areas of the Historic Center.
Likewise, the secretary general of the Advisory Council of our institution and advisor to the Committee on Culture and Cultural Heritage of the Congress of the Republic, Dr. Carlos Castagnola attended one of the dance activities. These activities took place in the facilities of the Congress of the Republic, where the national and foreign delegations participating in the event demonstrated all their talent and dedication to art.
The purpose was to promote the cultural aspects of each country and transmit their customs and traditions through their dances and music. These were well received by each of the attendees to the performances. Likewise, the national delegation received a great applause from the organizers of the event, highlighting its cultural wealth.

In this edition, casts from twelve countries such as Argentina, Costa Rica, Colombia, Easter Island and Mexico were invited. In addition, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Panama and Poland. They presented a colorful parade in the streets of our city, as well as a show in the emblematic theater.
Finally, this activity is in addition to those being carried out by the Cultural Management of the Municipality of Lima. These activities seek to disseminate the different artistic expressions that are developed in our capital city, in order to reactivate the Historic Center of Lima as a space for cultural promotion and provide the opportunity for more people to enjoy quality shows.
