Ing. César Gallardo Vela
He has held the position of President & CEO of the Chamber of Mines of Peru since 2014. He has 20 years of professional experience in the mining and industrial sector in Latin America. He holds a professional degree in Fluid Mechanics Engineering granted by the National University of San Marcos.
As for social responsibility, he has worked with his own resources on training students and teachers from Peruvian universities, training more than 5,000 students, with access to scholarships and training programs abroad.
In May 2016, the President of the Congress of the Republic of Peru honored him with a diploma and medal of honor for his permanent and successful contribution in favor of the development of responsible mining with a sense of solidarity.

More than 40 years of professional experience, currently, he is the Risk Prevention consultant at SERNAGEOMIN. He has held the position of Occupational Safety and Health DMH Manager – Codelco (Chile), Risk Management consultant at Antofagasta Minerals and Anglo American (Chile). He has served as OHS Manager, Sustainability and Risk Management Manager at Codelco (Chile).

More than 20 years of experience. Operations Superintendent at Nueva Union Mine (Chile). He held positions of Drilling, Blasting and Services Superintendent at Codelco, Andina (Chile), as well as Operations Superintendent, Mining Resources and Development Manager, Mine Planning Superintendent at Codelco G. Mistral (Chile).

Dr. Hernán Seoane – Argentina
More than 28 years of experience, he holds the position of Vice President of the Health Economics Commission at the Argentinian Medical Association. Currently, he is the Academic Director of the Institute for Human Development and Health (IDHS) – Association of Municipal Doctors of Caba (Argentina), as well as the Dean of the School of Medical Sciences of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Argentina.

More than 40 years of experience, he held the position of General Superintendent of Engineering at El Cerrejon mine (Colombia). He has been Mining Research Engineer at Syncrude (Canada), as well as Professor and Head of the Mining Department at Curtin University of Technology (Australia). He has served as Mining Professor at the University of Alberta (Canada) and at the University Missouri-Rolla (USA).

Dr. José Salazar – Chile
More than 20 years of experience, academic expert and researcher in Modeling, Simulation and Control of Metallurgical Processes. In addition, he has worked in different projects for mining companies related to Technological Innovation and Management, as well as in the Formulation of Projects related to metallurgical plants.

Ing. Alberto Ccahuana – Perú
More than 38 years of experience in the mining sector. He held the position of Safety and Occupational Health Manager in Hochschild Mining Peru, where he achieved zero fatal accidents. In addition, he created a Management System of Mining Safety.

Dra. Elizabeth Lam- Chile
More than 30 years of experience, leading the tailings line at the Catholic University of Chile. She conducted a research on non-metallic mining resources with regional interest. She was the President and Member of the Regional Environmental Advisory Council in the Ministry of Environment – Antofagasta Region (Chile).
