The Chamber of Mines of Peru and Universidad Técnica de Oruro (UTO) entered into an inter-institutional cooperation agreement. The agreement allows both institutions to establish and develop mechanisms and instruments for mutual collaboration.
The agreement was entered into between the CEO of The Chamber of Mines of Peru, engineer César Gallardo, and the Dean of Universidad Técnica de Oruro, M.Sc. David Emilio Ismael Rojas. The agreement establishes “to join efforts and available resources leading to human and knowledge development, as well as technical cooperation and the provision of services that both institutions can provide to each other.” The agreement was entered into at the House-Museum Simón Patiño.
The Dean of the aforementioned university said: “It is of great importance that two important institutions such as The Chamber of Mining of Peru and the Technical University of Oruro strengthen their relationship through the cooperation agreement that we have entered into in the city of Oruro.”
“We are very pleased to be able to have a closer relationship with The Chamber of Mining of Peru, and in this way be able to make our potential known,” concluded the representative of Universidad Técnica de Oruro.
