The Chamber of Mines of Peru working hand in hand with Public Institutions

The institution reaffirms its commitment to collaboration with public and private institutions.

The Chamber of Mines of Peru working hand in hand with Public Institutions

The Chamber of Mines of Peru, faithful to its commitments with both public and private entities, worked together during a control procedure carried out by the Peruvian Corporation of Airports and Commercial Aviation (CORPAC S.A.).

The Chamber of Mines of Peru and its support to Public Entities

On August 25, 2018, the Chamber of Mines of Peru received a request from CORPAC S.A. to provide the respective support in the “subsequent control” procedure that was being carried out by such entity, to the consortium formed by the company DOLMEN CONSTRUCTORA Y CONSULTORA S.A.C. and the natural person, MIGUEL ÁNGEL SARMIENTO JUNES.

This was requested for the Mining Chamber of Peru to inform about a diploma issued in favor of Mr. Alberto Rafael Ríos. This person attached to his curriculum vitae, a diploma of continuing education supposedly granted by the Chamber of Mines of Peru.

Therefore, by means of his academic recognition, he had his company awarded a public work.

As can be seen in the LEGAL REPORT N° 005-2019-CAMIPER-OA, after a verification of academic documents, the Chamber of Mines of Peru informed that Mr. Alberto Rafael Ríos does not appear in its academic records; and the Diploma does not correspond to the certifications provided by our institution.

Thus, after CORPAC S.A.’s request, the Chamber of Mines of Peru opened its doors and collaborated legally and administratively with everything requested by this public company; serving as a bridge to solve the doubts about public contracting.

Resolution of the State Contracting Tribunal

As an institution, we categorically reject these facts and the use of the name of the Chamber of Mines of Peru for acts contrary to the law.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that we will always be willing to openly collaborate with the requirements requested by the State institutions.
