The objective of the Chamber of Mines of Peru is that mining professionals know that they will always be welcome and have full confidence that they will receive the best service aimed at meeting their needs and solve all their concerns.
Therefore, our institution constantly rewards the efforts of those who show an outstanding performance in our academic programs. These professionals receive various gifts, such as academic courses, books, discounts on their next enrollment, among others. In this way, we seek to encourage their desire for constant training.
Students with Outstanding Academic Performance
Ing. Gustavo Pizarro Calderon, business promoter at the Inter-American Bank of Finance, BANBIF is one of our students with outstanding academic performance. He came to the administrative office to pick up his international dual-certification diploma Peru – South Africa that proves the successful completion of the diploma course on Supply Chain Management in Mining.
“As always, the staff service has been excellent, very nice and friendly people who are attentive to the needs of the students. Something that has really caught my attention is the quality of the facilities. I have had the opportunity to come here before and the atmosphere has always seemed quite good; however, I have returned after a while and now I find them much better, more welcoming and modern,” said the student with outstanding academic performance.
Ing. Pizarro also invited his colleagues to become part of the family of the Chamber of Mines of Peru. “I invite all my classmates, colleagues and friends of the university to get to know the Chamber of Mines and enroll in its various master’s, diploma and specialization programs. They are the best option for them to grow in this professional area,” he said.
On the other hand, José Salas Medina was also awarded for his outstanding academic performance. The senior geologist at Anglo American Quellaveco S.A. picked up the international dual-certification diploma Peru – South Africa, for his participation in the “GeoMet Mining Congress”.
“This facility is very welcoming. I had heard from friends that the staff was very friendly. Now I have had the opportunity to come and see that facilities and welcome to professionals is first class. The truth is that I really want to come back soon”, said the engineer with outstanding academic performance.
Professionals from Peru and the World
It should also be noted that our employees welcome professionals from Peru, Latin America and Spain on a daily basis. Such is the case of engineers César Beteta Félix (Chief Guard) and Edwin Canales Egocheaga (Geomechanics Assistant). Both workers of Compañía Minera Huancapeti S.A.C. in Ancash. They were enrolled in the Diploma Course on Cost and Budget Management in Underground Mining Operations.
As can be seen, the Chamber of Mines of Peru is not only interested in developing quality programs and tools to improve student training. Its concern is also focused on providing them with a pleasant environment, where they can go to clarify their doubts and concerns. In addition, with our awards we encourage the outstanding academic performance of our students.
