The Chamber of Mines of Peru presents its new website with technical articles on the main areas of the sector.
The Chamber of Mines of Peru presents its new website specialized in national and international mining. On this website you can find technical articles divided into the eight fundamental areas of the sector. That is, Management, Geology, Mining, Metallurgy, Safety, Environment, Maintenance and Social Responsibility.
Likewise, the members of the Technical Committee of The Chamber of Mines of Peru are in charge of the elaboration of the specialized articles. In this way, The Chamber of Mines of Peru ensures the quality of these articles, since the Technical Committee brings together professionals from all over the world who share their broad experience in the sector through technical and specialized mining publications.
The Technical Advisory Committee of The Chamber of Mines of Peru, which will prepare the technical articles of the new specialized mining website, is chaired by engineer Luis Alva Florián, who has more than 35 years of experience in the extractive sector. He is a mining engineer graduated from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI). Within his outstanding career, he held the position of General Manager at Aruntani mining company. He also holds a Master’s degree in Mining Management from UNI.
“This new tool will allow professionals and students to learn about the latest trends in the sector. In addition, they will be able to broaden their knowledge through technical articles developed by the best professionals in the mining sector”, said the chair of The Chamber of Mines of Peru, engineer César Gallardo Vela, about the function of the new specialized mining website of our institution.
He also emphasized that “The Chamber of Mines of Peru is always looking for new tools to continue training those directly involved in mining, because we want it to become a sustainable activity, responsible with the environment and the communities, in order to generate economic development in Latin America. The priority is to be promoters of New Mining”, about the new specialized mining website of our institution.
