New Director of Mining Management at The Chamber of Mines of Peru

Direction was assumed by engineer Edmundo Tulcanaza, who has been a manager and senior consultant at CODELCO.

New Director of Mining Management at The Chamber of Mines of Peru

Engineer Edmundo Tulcanaza assumed the position of Director of Mining Management at The Chamber of Mines of Peru. The new Director of Mining Management has been a manager and senior consultant at CODELCO, Chile. He is also a representative of the Committee for Mineral Reserves International Reporting Standards and CEO of the Centro de Estudios Mineros (Chile). He also worked in international engineering companies such as Davy, Fluor, Bechtel, Pincock, Allen & Holt, Ingendesa, among others.

Regarding his new position, Tulcanaza expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to hold this position. “It is an honor to be able to participate in the Mining Management Department of The Chamber of Mines of Peru. The panorama for 2019 in mining is very encouraging and there is a lot of work to be done,” he said.

The new director of Mining Management is a specialist in Mining Project Evaluation from the Société d’Economie et de Mathématique Appliqueé (France) and in Geostatistics from École des Mines de Paris, Centre de Géostatistique en Fontainebleau (France).
