The academic event that will bring together the best health professionals starts on Monday 21.
From next Monday, June 21 to Friday, June 25, more than 300 professionals will attend the 2nd International Congress on Health Sciences – PROSALUD 2021, an event organized by the CAMIPER Escuela de Altos Estudios.
With the aim of developing the thematic axes of epidemiology, public health, hospital administration and occupational health, the organization has prepared a full agenda for the more than 300 registered participants from different countries such as the USA, Ecuador, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Bolivia, among others.
In this way, the participants will gain knowledge that will allow them to obtain better job opportunities and develop professionally in their workplaces.
The organizers of the event said that this year the theme of the 2nd International Congress on Health Sciences – PROSALUD, is “Innovation in medical care for a better quality of life.”
This slogan responds to the current situation in which we live, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which, together with the instability and uncertainty, makes it essential to look for spaces to share good practices and new technologies.
The world is changing and so are health services. That is why we must be aligned to a common goal, which is the prevention, control and treatment of the emerging infectious and viral diseases that affect our society.
Under that scenario, assured César Gallardo Vela, President and CEO of the Chamber of Mines of Peru, success will be achieved if there is a short-, medium- and long-term vision that is committed to education. “PROSALUD 2021 is the platform that will contribute in that sense, during the development of its program, proposals and good practices by highly qualified experts.”
This great event will be attended by world-class speakers such as Farshid Meidany, Master in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health (United States); Irene Melamed, Master in Bioethics and Law from the University of Barcelona (Spain); Eduardo Salevsky, Master in Management and Administration of Health Services and Systems from the University of Favaloro (Argentina), among others.
In addition, this congress will have an extensive program of short courses and plenary sessions, which are oriented to public health administration and pandemic control.
Among them we can highlight the Short Course “Epidemiological Study Design and Validation and Efficiency Considerations”, in charge of Mg. Agustina M. Marconi from Argentina; “Strategic Planning in Health Organizations”, presented by Mg. Ricardo López from Mexico.
Finally, CAMIPER invites all healthcare professionals to participate, seeking to find solutions and strengthen links with participants from more than eight Latin American countries.
