Chamber of Mines of Peru Making a Difference
On Sunday, March 1, PDAC 2020 began an event that opened with the words of the Minister of Natural Resources, Seamus O’regan. This opening was attended by more than 25 thousand people, including investors, managers and experts linked to the global mining sector.
In this opening, the delegation of the Peruvian Chamber of Mines stood out from the rest of the delegations after promoting “mining for everyone” at the event. This concept addresses strategic solutions to problems and conflicts against mining development. Likewise, this concept of mining development proposes activities based on technology, research and sustainability. These allow for a globalized development of extractive activities.
Finally, each member of the PDAC 2020 delegation was able to enrich their knowledge with globalized ideas. In addition, they were able to contribute value from their experience and broad vision of the sector during the opening ceremony of the mining event.
In the coming days, we will be updating you with more information about PDAC 2020 and the academic trip of our delegation to Canada, under the slogan Mining for Everyone.
