The Chamber of Mines of Peru presents its new international diploma course “High Risk Works in Mining.” This academic program is aimed at training personnel in the development of work activities in confined spaces and hot works; works in excavations and quarries, electrical works and works with radioactive materials; works at heights and in the operation of hoisting equipment.
Part of the Chamber of Mines of Peru strategic objectives is to provide the necessary tools so that the stakeholders directly involved in the mining sector have constant training. At the end of the diploma course, the graduate will be able to know and implement standards, procedures and good practices to perform high-risk works in mining.
The diploma course on High Risk Works in Mining emphasizes the explanation of the Peruvian legislation DS 024-2016-EM, as well as the regulations in force at the international level in representative countries of the region.
