Covid-19 Free workshop on Covid-19
Thanks to this webinar the 2230 attendees from more than 25 countries were able to obtain the tools to create strategies in response to the pandemic, from a comprehensive view
The Covid-19 workshop, led by Ph.D. Bustamante, was developed with the following agenda:
- Viruses and coronavirus
- Virology of the coronavirus Sars-CoV-2
- Coronavirus detection methods
- Coronavirus and Covid-19 epidemiology
- Vaccines
- Conclusions and the new normal
As indicated by Bustamante, among the thousands of viruses that infect us on a regular basis, very few cause disease. Likewise, a smaller number generate epidemics or pandemics, as in the case of Covid-19.
During the Covid-19 workshop held by the Chamber Of Mines Of Peru, it was reported that the pandemic generated by Covid-19 combines two factors: most people have no immunity and the disease is easily contagious.
