Concytec and our institution united in mining technological development
The President considers The Chamber of Mines of Peru as a great ally and reference in postgraduate training courses
In the celebration of the 141° anniversary of the National University of Engineering (UNI) participated different entities and organizations. Amongst them, the National Council for Science, Technology and Technological Innovation (Concytec), jointly with our institution, The Chamber of Mines of Peru.
In addition, Dra. Fabiol León-Velarde, president of this entity, remarked the development applied to the mining sector.
The biologist highlighted the alliances that UNI has with different entities which help to improve professionals’ academic quality, since it positions Peru as one of the best mining companies in the world.
The highest authority of Concytec highlighted the work of our institution, especially for training mining professionals in the improvement of mining processes.
Carlos Castagnola, Senior Management Advisor of The Chamber of Mines of Peru and advisor to the Commission of Culture and Cultural Heritage of the Congress of the Republic, received greetings and congratulations from the President of Concytec.
Dr. Castagnola shared the company’s vision, which seeks to promote the development of a sustainable global mining industry and act with social and environmental responsibility with the support of a highly qualified multidisciplinary team.
Dr. Fabiola León-Velarde considered that The Chamber of Mines of Peru is a great ally and a reference in the area of postgraduate training, which favors the creation of high-level professionals.
Our institution has been developing strategic projects that allow the continuous support between both entities; in favor of a responsible mining identity that allows the country’s development.
On the other hand, Concytec is the institution in charge of generating and promoting, from the State, private and public sector initiatives for the country’s scientific and technological development
