Cesar Gallardo ratified as president of the Chamber Of Mines Of Peru

The engineer Cesar Gallardo Vela was ratified by the Chamber Of Mines Of Peru as president, who has more than 20 years of professional experience in the mining and industrial sector around the world. He was elected as president of our institution in 2017 as Executive Manager.

Previously, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer between the period of 2014 and 2016.

It should be pointed out that the engineer Cesar Gallardo has a degree in Fluid Mechanics conferred by the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.

One of his objectives as president of the Chamber Of Mines Of Peru, is working in relation to mining well-being of the enterprise, society and the Estate, aligned to Mission and Vision of our institution created 17 years ago.

Also, president Gallardo (CIP No. 134411), promotes the integration of all stakeholders related to the mining sector. In this way, he contributes to the development of an extractive activity with social and environmental responsibility in a context of global integration.

Of course, aligning his personal principles with the objective of promoting responsible and sustainable mining for all.

Engineer César Gallardo and the example for the mining sector

In the area of social responsibility, he has worked with his own resources to train students and professors from Peruvian universities. In that way, he managed to train more than 5000 students, through scholarships and training programs abroad.

In May 2016, he was awarded by the Congress President of the Republic of Peru with a diploma and medal of honor for his permanent and successful contribution in favor of the development of responsible mining with a sense of solidarity.

Also, engineer César Gallardo promotes the development of strategic mining and investment projects; and raises his recognition to those pioneer mining entrepreneurs, managers and authorities in general, who contribute to the sustainable development of our country thanks to the development of our mining potential.
