The health post in Ancon received a projector and a big screen that will be used for future training and health campaigns.
The Chamber of Mines of Peru was at the San José health post last week, to deliver different donations. Among them, multimedia tools, a big screen and medicines to the medical team.
In addition, our institution committed itself to provide training programs to physicians and internists to continue their training as health specialists.
Víctor Hugo Pérez, Chief Physician of the center, received the donations and expressed his gratitude for the received materials.
“We are entirely grateful because this is the third time that The Chamber of Mines of Peru has responded to our humanitarian appeal. We want to remark that the clinical laboratory has also been implemented thanks to the donations received on previous opportunities. Therefore, the elderly and children benefit from it”, said Dr. Pérez.
The health post in Ancón, with more than 40 years of service to the community, has several specialties: obstetrics, dentistry, nutrition, pediatrics, psychology, among others. And the San José center has a laboratory, a pharmacy as well as a triage area available for the population.
This health post currently has 29 employees in morning and afternoon shifts, attending an average of 250 patients per day.

The Chamber of Mines of Peru is recognized for promoting a sustainable and responsible mining activity. We are also committed to the continuous training of professionals who will contribute to the development of the country’s mining sector.
Our institution is interested in optimizing training quality of all those related to the sector. One example is the training program for students and professors from universities all over the country.
