Consultant to the Senior Management of the Chamber of Mines of Peru receives Honorary Doctorate Degree.
The civil association Sembrando Valores conferred Honorary Doctorate Degree to the Consultant to the Senior Management of the Chamber of Mines of Peru, Carlos Castagnola. The award ceremony was held at the headquarters of the institution.
Sembrando Valores is a non-profit association made up of outstanding professionals, businessmen and educational institutions, committed to building a humanist society of social responsibility and leadership, cultivated in values of justice, peace and solidarity, in order to contribute to the strengthening of Peruvian society.
The recognition granted by Sembrando Valores is awarded to national and international personalities who stand out in educational, cultural, scientific, academic and social responsibility activities.
Castagnola is a psychologist, theologian, philosopher and educator. He is also an expert in mining issues and has solid experience in mining companies such as Colquiri, from Bolivia, and Doe Run Perú.
Regarding the award, Dr. Castagnola said: “I am very excited about the great honor that this institution has bestowed upon me. At this time I am pleased to express my recognition and gratitude to the institutional authorities of Sembrando Valores.”
