The Chamber of Mines of Peru establishes a training system aimed at improving mining processes.
The Chamber of Mines of Peru, in compliance with its objective of providing the best training to its students, has created the Scientific Innovation 4.0 training system, which aims to contribute to the solution of problems that arise in mining processes.
For example, within the mining process there are drilling, blasting, hauling, transport and ventilation. Each one has a direct influence on the other. If the blasting operation is not carried out efficiently and mistakes are made when selecting the explosive, the company’s profits will be lower and the operation will not be profitable, since greater resources will be required to obtain better results. In view of this situation, our system is oriented to elaborate solutions and make the mining business profitable.
This Scientific Innovation 4.0 program is made up of four tools. Firstly, there are the Virtual Contents, which include didactic materials prepared by professionals with broad experience and international training. Secondly, there is the Scientific Connection. This tool allows participants to connect their ideas with more than 200 researchers specialized in various areas of mining activity. They are also available to answer any questions students may have.
The third tool is Academic Tutoring. Each student has an academic tutor, who will help solve their questions and concerns 24 hours a day.
Finally, the fourth tool is New Specialists. This tool integrates the best researchers in the world, where we incorporate new specialists, in order to provide the latest scientific advances.
Thus, it can be seen that this training system is designed to optimize the training level of professionals, in order to solve the difficulties that arise and thus generate a positive impact on the entire business.
