Advisory Council received recognition by the Chamber of Mines of Peru. Members of this team received this distinction for extraordinary contributions to development of a modern, global and sustainable mining industry.
The ceremony, which was presided over by the chief executive officer of the Chamber of Mines of Peru, Eng. Cesar Gallardo Vela, took place during the opening of the II International GEOMET 2016 Mining Congress.
Members of Advisory Council of the Chamber of Mines of Peru received this recognition for an exceptional contribution in favor of environmentally responsible mining; which seeks to reduce costs of operations and prioritizes relationship with the communities.
During the ceremony, president of Advisory Council of the Chamber of Mines of Peru, Mr. Cesar Campos, and members of Advisory Council: rector of the National University of Engineering, Mr. Jorge Alva Hurtado; specialist in Mining and Environmental Law, Mrs. Xennia Forno; and the consultant in Sustainable Development, Eng. Luis Alva Florian, received this recognition from the chief executive officer of the Chamber of Mines of Peru, Eng. Cesar Gallardo Vela.
“We have a team of experts. This is part of our search for responsible and sustainable mining that develops social responsibility projects with different communities and, mainly, that generates economic development of the country,” said Gallardo.
