The Chamber of Mines of Peru (CMP) participated in the launching event of Marca Junin. Dr. Carlos Castagnola, General Secretary of CMP’s Advisory Council, visited the event took in the Palacio Municipal de Lima (City Hall of Lima).
The event was organized by the Junin Regional Government with the help of Junin’s provincial and district municipalities. Some of the guests included business associations, entrepreneurial producers, and exporters.
During the launch, Ángel Unchupaico, the Regional President of Junín unveiled the campaign logo. He explained how its usage will allow to standardize the quality of regional production. In addition, it will open new national and international markets, contributing to Junín’s progress.
In his speech, Mr. Unchupaico also stated “our brand aims to target the demanding consumer. Therefore, we will begin an intense dissemination campaign in the city of Lima and its districts; so that the population knows and recognizes the quality of the flagship products of the Junin region.
Launching of Marca Junín: Junín Ambassadors
The brand ambassadors are popular figures of art, music, sports, dances, and other expressions native to Junin.
Some of these outstanding artists include: the singer Amanda Portales, the members of the Real Sociedad Viques; as well as the singer Ruby Palomino. Not to mention other cultural and traditional figures of Junin.
Following the event, a parade was held in the vicinity of the Plaza de Armas.
