The Chamber of Mines of Peru attended the briefing to learn about the Peruvian government progress and perspectives for the following months.
The briefing was given by Fernando Zavala, President of the Council of Ministers, on behalf of Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, President of Peru.
The Prime Minister started the briefing mentioning the four main subjects of the government agenda: security, education, economic growth, and health. During his briefing, Zavala included the mining industry due to its importance for national economic growth. He also mentioned the strategies the Government is implementing to boost mining development.

César Gallardo, President of the Chamber of Mines of Peru, and Dr. Carlos Castagnola, Secretary General of the Advisory Council of The Chamber of Mines of Peru and Advisor to the Committee on Culture and Cultural Heritage of the Congress of the Republic, attended the briefing given by Fernando Zavala, Primer Minister.
The representatives of The Chamber of Mines of Peru, entity caring about national economic growth through responsible and sustainable mining, were present at the briefing to learn about the government progress and objectives, as well as to develop action plans for mining that allow an economic and social development in the country.
Through these actions, we strengthen our relationships with relevant mining authorities and contribute to positive synergies between companies, the society and the State.
