The Second International Congress on Health Sciences – PROSALUD 2021, an event that promoted research in medicine and health sciences, concluded with great acceptance and satisfaction by more than 300 attendees from different Latin American countries.
Such statement is supported by the different plenary sessions and enriching Short Courses developed by the 27 internationally recognized speakers, who shared valuable concepts based on scientific evidence and practice, which allowed each medical professional attending the congress to increase their knowledge.
This was pointed out by the Health Sciences Coordinator of Camiper – Escuela de Altos Estudios, Dr. César Montoya, during the closing ceremony of PROSALUD 2021, on Friday, June 25.
“The main objective has been to bring together professionals and academics related to research in medicine and health sciences in order to develop important main topics in health sciences, such as epidemiology, hospital administration, biostatistics, hospital management, occupational health, as well as a very important topic for the current pandemic we are experiencing, which is public health.”
Experience and research in medicine and health
Likewise, Dr. Montoya highlighted the relevance of the speakers cited for the second edition of this successful congress.
“We must remember JM Mulet’s phrase, ‘There is only one medicine’, and it is indeed when there is scientific evidence to support it. Obviously, our eminent speakers have imported us their knowledge, their experiences and research in medicine and health sciences, but with evidence, which is what we need at this time.”
Finally, the coordinator of the Health area of the institution thanked the attendees and organizers of PROSALUD 2021, especially, César Gallardo, President and CEO of the Chamber of Mines of Peru, for his “generosity and emphatic dedication to carry out these academic activities, which have made it possible to bring together international speakers from the United States, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Mexico and Peru.”
