The Chamber of Mines of Peru, in order to contribute to the improvement of the mining sector in the region, signed a specific institutional agreement with the Gabriel René Moreno Autonomous University (UAGRM) of Bolivia, in order to strengthen and consolidate its specialized training programs.
It should be noted that the execution of this agreement will result in an important advance in terms of professional training level, not only for those who work in the mining industry, but also for professionals in the Health Sciences.
They are two institutions of recognized trajectory in the region, which in turn will collaborate with each other to develop cooperation mechanisms and instruments that will lead to academic improvement.
The specific institutional agreement was signed by the president of the Chamber of Mines of Peru, Ing. César Gallardo Vela, and the director of postgraduate studies of the UAGRM, Mg. José Lanza Pradel, in the city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
It is worth mentioning the importance of the institutions that are part of this specific institutional agreement. With nearly two decades of experience promoting the development of the mining sector in various fields of action, the Chamber of Mines of Peru remains firm in its objective of providing specialized training for the sector.
Therefore, through its academic division, Camiper School of Higher Studies, offers postgraduate programs by its virtual platform, where its innovative educational model, based on case solutions and research, stands out.
On the other hand, the Gabriel René Moreno Autonomous University of Bolivia is one of the most prestigious in that country, with a trajectory dating back to 1880.
Thus, the specific institutional agreement between the two entities allows them to complement their recognized attributes in a functional manner, as well as to strengthen the development of responsible and sustainable mining by training and educating new generations.
