The Chairman of The Chamber of Mining of Peru, engineer César Gallardo, visited the facilities of the Mining Historical Archive of Bolivia, located in El Alto. The archive belongs to Corporación Minera de Bolivia (COMIBOL).

Likewise, the historical facility houses material from several documentary collections. One of the most important is the “Corporación Minera de Bolivia (COMIBOL)” Fund, which was created with the documentary heritage of the nationalization of the Patiño, Hochschild and Aramayo mines.

“It is an honor for us to receive such an illustrious guest as engineer Gallardo. We thank him for his visit to the Mining Historical Archive”, said Edgar Ramírez, Director of the Archive.

“The vision of the National Mining Historical Archive is to organize the mining memory of the 20th century. It uses information sciences and universally accepted archival tools.
